Bahia Vista is on the site of one of Aransas Bay's earliest settlements. First a Spanish Fort, and then a thriving community of early Texas settlers, the bluffs above the bay are now home to a unique R.V. Park and camping area. A modern park with
sun decks, walkways and steps to those who enjoy the beauty of nature.
Rockport fishing is famous, and the 300 foot pier is lighted at night.

Activities abound in the summer- from the Art Festival attended by artisans and craftsmen from all over the continent to the spectacular 4th of July fireworks celebration at the Rockport Beach Park. . Winter visitors come from all over the United States and Canada to enjoy South Texas' mild winters. The new recreation hall serves as a social center with a panoramic view of Copano Bay and a crackling fireplace for trading fish tales! . Our winter activities include Saturday morning breakfast and pot lucks every Wednesday followed by Bingo, once a month spaghetti Feeds. This enables everybody to get to know each other right away. Craft days are every Tuesday and Thursday
morning but the recreation room is available for
